Efficacy and safety of ovine reinforced tissue matrix for ventral hernia repair: a systematic review and meta-analysis.

Systematic review and meta-analysis of OviTex (ovine reinforced tissue matrix) for ventral hernia repair shows significantly lower recurrence rates compared to synthetic or other biologic meshes at mean 19.3-month follow-up.
