Daily Pill
Terms of Service
Effective May 20, 2026.
Not medical advice
Daily Pill curates published research from PubMed and summarises it for educational purposes. Nothing in any digest is medical advice. Summaries are AI-generated and may mischaracterise the source. Always verify findings against the original abstract before applying them to patient care. The decision to act on any information you read here is yours and yours alone.
Who can use it
Daily Pill is intended for licensed clinicians or clinical trainees who want a curated literature-review feed. You confirm by signing up that you are at least 18 years old and either practising medicine, studying medicine, or otherwise have a professional interest in medical research. We don't verify credentials and the service is not designed for general public consumption.
Your account
- You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us and we'll help rotate keys.
- Don't share your developer-key activation link — those are bound to your email and your single user account.
- You can pause or delete your account at any time (see the Privacy page for the deletion process).
Billing (when not on a free tester key)
- New accounts include a 7-day free trial. After the trial you can choose a pay-as-you-go plan (per-day metered billing — you pay only for days where we actually processed a digest for you) or a fixed monthly plan ($9/month, up to 3 specialties).
- Payment is handled by Stripe; you can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the customer portal linked from Preferences → Subscription.
- Refunds: contact us within 7 days of a charge if something went wrong and we'll review case-by-case. We do not currently offer pro-rated refunds for cancellations mid-cycle.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice via email. Existing subscriptions honour the price on the date they were purchased through the end of their current billing period.
Acceptable use
- Don't scrape, redistribute, or republish the digests.
- Don't use the platform to harass, defraud, or attempt to impersonate anyone.
- Don't attempt to bypass the rate limits, abuse the PubMed proxy, or otherwise compromise the service. We monitor for this and will suspend offending accounts.
Service availability
Daily Pill is provided as-is during the early-access period. We aim for daily delivery but make no guarantees of uptime or uninterrupted service. We may pause sends, change the rotation algorithm, or modify the product without notice while we're still iterating.
Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Daily Pill is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; if we do, we'll update the Effective date at the top and email you for material changes. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
